Who We Are
The Alabama Association of Professional Process Servers is Alabama’s only community of professional process servers and the first resource of its kind for credible information for this profession.
The Alabama Association of Professional Process Servers was founded in 2022 in response to a growing demand to unify members of the profession to combat potential harmful legislation that threatens the process serving profession. The Alabama Association of Alabama Professional Process Servers also aims to educate its members to promote and improve service within the process serving community.

Code of Ethics
The practice of process serving can present distinctive and challenging ethical issues. Also, protecting the integrity and the public trust are also essential to the profession. It is our goal to help members navigate ethics, principles, and applications AAPPS created, and continues to maintain a Code of Ethics. Under the Alabama Association of Professional Process Servers Code of Ethics, members agree to its principles and practice guidelines that define their professionalism and advance their success. AAPPS also gets involved in relevant ethics-related and legislative-related issues regarding the profession. The legal system has to work for those who the professional process server serves; it is their opportunity to be heard. A breach of the AAAPPS Code of Ethics is a serious matter, and the leadership team considers many options that range from a reprimand to expulsion when it is violated. It is rare for an AAPPS member, who joins willingly, to violate the Code of Ethics. Nonetheless, AAPPS is committed to the oversight and regulation of its own members.
